On January 11, Bada shared the exciting news to her fans via Instagram with a handwritten letter. She wrote,
“Dear loving fans, this is Bada.
I’m writing each letter with an excited mind. Time has passed and two of the fairies got married first and I was left as a Miss for a long time. I’m here to share my personal story that was delayed a little due to S.E.S’s reunion. With the support from my family and peers, I’m ready to welcome my boyfriend as a husband. We’re planning to get married on March 23. I wish to present more good music after creating the meaning of my own family. I also want to share this happiness with you guys. I request encouragement and congratulations from fans. Please cheer [me] on and look forward to a deeper and wider Bada. Thank you.”
In September of 2016, Bada opened up about her relationship with a non-celebrity boyfriend 9 years her junior to the public.
