Female Solo Singer Impresses With Charismatic Vocals On “King Of Masked Singer”
On January 15’s episode of MBC’s “King Of Masked Singer,” contestant “Hello” was revealed to be a solo singer with four years under her belt.

In this episode, “Hello” competed with “Prince Anpanman” during the third round.
She performed a rendition of Nami’s “Sad Fate,” while “Prince Anpanman” sang Park Mi Kyung’s “Distant Memories of You.” As “Hello” performed, the judges and audience members were awed by her emotive singing.
Ultimately, “Prince Anpanman” won the third round, and the identity of “Hello” was revealed.
It was none other than solo female singer Suran!
As soon as she unveiled herself, the audience warmly greeted her, while fellow singer Tei shouted, “I’m your fan!”
One of the judges, Yoo Young Suk, was almost moved to tears, and praised her performance. Another judge, renowned composer Kim Hyeon Cheol, was so impressed by her charismatic voice and musicality, that he proposed they work together in the future.
Shin Bong Sun assured Suran the proposal was sincere, commenting, “He’s not saying that just for show. He kept asking everyone in the panel if we knew your number”
Since her official debut in 2014, Suran has made a name for herself in the music industry with her unique vocals and talent. She has collaborated with various other artists such as Primary, Beenzino, and Zico.
Suran is also known for her work as a featured vocalist on many songs, including BTS’ Suga’s “So Far Away.”
